An ancient Roman coin is displayed in this bold sterling silver ring. The bronze coin is set face up, and what a handsome face it is, with carefully coiffed hair and a laurel wreath. Two large claw prongs hold the coin in a bezel, set atop a heavy band. Fleur de lis flourishes adorn the shoulders. This statement ring is attractive and historically interesting. The sterling setting dates to circa 1970.

Details.....Currently a size 7.75. The top of the ring measures 19.3mm by 21mm, and the band is 5.8mm wide . In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
